About this Project
Courage Center is aiming to examine the effects of co-payments in health care use. Recent legislative changes have brought about increases in many people’s co-payments. These changes can have huge consequences in access or use of health care, including purchasing medications or attending health care appointments. More importantly, such increases in co-payments may also cause a knock on affect on other areas of a person’s life, especially having less money to spend on other vital needs.
This survey is completely anonymous. We only ask for your ZIP code and age to avoid duplicate submissions. We plan to use this survey, your answers, comments and quotes to determine and report on the outcomes of changing co-payments. The information you give may be used to advocate for reducing co-payments and/or influence future policy decisions regarding co-payments. We plan on sharing our results with the public, the legislature and other appropriate parties.
